Full Gospel Church of the Lord's Missions Int'l Statement of Faith

We believe:
  1. That the Holy Bible is the infallible and inspired Word of God and is the ultimate authority on which our Christian faith is based.
  2. In the Virgin Birth of Jesus as prophesied by Isaiah (Is. 7:14) and fulfilled in the recorded birth of Jesus.
  3. In the Humanity and Divinity of Jesus.
  4. In the Death and Burial of Jesus in every biblical detail.
  5. The Resurrection of Jesus for our justification, and because of His resurrection, our resurrection, also.
  6. In the Ascension of Jesus to the right hand of God the Father after His resurrection as our intercessor and advocate.
  7. In the Coming Again of Jesus for His own; giving us a glorified body, an instant change, dead or alive at His coming – the rapture.
  8. That the only way of salvation is by Repentance and Faith in the blood of Jesus shed for us at Calvary as full atonement for our sins made possible by the love and grace of God the Father and brought about by the work of the Holy Spirit.
  9. In the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, three persons in one as manifested in the creation; Jesus’ baptism, transfiguration.
  10. In Baptism after salvation as an outward sign in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, identifying with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection.
  11. In the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity, as Comforter (John 14:16), as teacher (John 14:16-19, 26), as seal (Ephes 4:30), as giver of power (Acts 1:8), as bestower of His gifts for the edification of the church (Ephes 4:11); 1 Cor 12:7-11.
That the Holy Spirit is free to believers who ask for it, believing.
That the Holy Spirit is manifested by the fruit of the spirit and control of our members (body) including the tongue.
  12. In Sanctification for believers as a continuing, progressive process, a work of Grace but an act of will. Sanctification is made possible by the Word through the Holy Spirit; by the Blood ; by the Holy Ghost ; by the Word ; by Faith.
